Halloween was a lot of fun this year since Brody and Sutton were both able to enjoy it. We had Sutton's best friend Laci and her parents over to trick-or-treat. As you can see from the pictures, the girls wanted to dress just alike and finally decided to be witches (good witches of course). It was too cold for Brody to go house to house so he just stayed home and passed out candy with Keith. He loved seeing all of the kids in their costumes.
Brody is starting to sing along to 'Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.' He likes to chime in when we get to the verse "up above the world so high." I apologize now that you have to endure my singing, but I hope you enjoy Brody's. Isn't he a cutie!
Sutton's best friend, Laci, had her birthday party at an indoor pool in Georgetown that has a kids only section with a slide, water sprayers, whirlpool, etc. Sutton loves water so I knew she'd have a blast, but this was the first time Brody had been in a pool. It took a few minutes for him to get use to it, but he had a blast as well.
Brody loves his new ride! We cruise the neighborhood often so he can wave at the neighbors and say "Bye, Bye." Sutton loves to ride her bike too, but she's way too fast for me to get a photo that isn't blurry.
Brody absolutely loves to vacuum. We can't vacuum the house without him wanting to push it and if you don't let him he unplugs the cord so you can't either. Our solution to this problem is to give him the little vacuum we use on the stairs and let him play with this while we vacuum the rest of the house. Don't worry, it's not plugged in. Thank goodness someone likes to clean!
Sutton is a very creative child and was recently voted 'Most Artistic' in her class at school. She loves to paint, color, draw and play Keith's guitar and harmonica. Watch the video to see our budding musician in action entertaining her brother!
